Harry was born in Melton Hamlet, Ufford in 1876 and was the eldest son of David and Sarah. In 1911 he was living in Walton, Felixstowe and working as a gardener and also as a lamp lighter for the local gas company. There are no further records available to say where he served or with which regiment. He is the other son mentioned in an article from the Woodbridge Reporter – see William David Leggett.
